The first Delta Air Lines DC-9-50 to be retired was sent to MZJ today, June 2.  It is N768NC.

noooo!!!! they cant retire them yet!! How many 50s are still flyin for Delta? like 5? I saw one take off yesterday afternoon while standing around College Park MARTA station.

Powered by a 330hp John Deere 6081H CNG fueled, turbocharged 8.1 Liter 6 cylinder engine connected to an Allison B400R6 six speed automatic transmission with built in retarder.
