A BOLO just went out over Columbus Police for the Direct TV blimp that was tethered at The Ohio State University Airport. It is very windy in Columbus tonight so we will see where it turns up.

It was actually the HANGER 1 VODKA Blimp.

I saw it yesterday early morning around 10:30 am heading south most likely to Columbus and it was being piloted at the time.

This is why I love Twitter.  It was dispatched as the Diredt TV blimp and all the law enforcement angencies in the area repeated it.  People started twetting @dtvblimp asking about the blimp and someone from the Direct TV blimp crew responed, "we are in Baltimore. not our blimp". Both blimps are owned by The Lightship Group.

The blimp was found not far from the airport.

Would be cool to wake up and see it parked in your backyard. Hope someone got pics would love to see it in someones backyard. I know what I would do if it was in my backyard. Cool
