Awhile back i noticed delta used to bring in a md-88 that used to service cle-slc. I havent seen one in quite some time after that. Im non-reving to s im coming backju in jan and noticed that im coming back on a md-88 from atl-cle. Anybody know if this is accurate?

I thought Delta was using MD-90s and then Embraer 170s for SLC-CLE...  The former due to the hot and high conditions at SLC and the latter once they were able to adjust for loads.

Thursday A.M.--- I'm in my office and hear a nice rumble.  I thought it was a military jet or something.  I went outside to look and saw a Delta DC-9 taking off.  Smoke trail and everything.  The cool, dense air seemed to bring out the noise in a nice way.  Just one of those things you don't see and hear in CLE that often.
