"The Avon Planning Commission gave the Clinic permission to build a second helicopter pad at the health center and build quarters for the critical care crew that operates the helicopters, a spokeswoman said. The Clinic currently has one helicopter pad at the site. "
 

I'm sure those subdivisions on either side will love the new heliport, they should have taken a clue from the residents in Medina and Kamms.

That's always good news for the area.  The population is growing in that area and there must be greater need for air ambulance services.  Good for Avon!

That area where it is located is still wide open. The only thing around is farm land and grape vineyards. The closet development is across I-90.

 

I would think that the people in the area would be used to all  the noise from the commuter traffic and the freeway.

I would think the infrasonics from the helicopters are probably much worse than the highway noise (except for those houses that back up to 90, yikes) for those houses in that development due south.
