First increase since 2007 to 9,072,126 passengers (only a 0.68% increase, but at least maybe the downward trend is turning around), interestingly enough, due to a 37% increase in international passengers.

Considering UA's continuing cuts in spoke routes that carry mostly connecting traffic, the net increase for the airport indicates a very healthy growth for CLE O&D, which in turn says the CLE economy is doing much better also. 

Good news all around, except maybe for UA employees whose numbers shrink with the flight reductions.

 Any more details on these cutbacks in employees? I thought UA flight levels were relatively stable.
