Hi All, I got an email tonight from a friend of the site who was communicating with a friend of his who just happened to have some vintage photos from the 1981 Cleveland Air Show, back when my Dad used to perform there!  Among all the cool shots are three featuring my Dad's plane, and one with me in it wearing a red jumpsuit as part of his ground crew.  I have no recollection of helping my Dad at the shows after I graduated high-school in 1979, so this came as a surprise to see me and two of my college fraternity brothers at the show in 1981!  (But then again...there is a lot I probably don't remember about those years!) Laugh

 

I'm the guy with the Juan Epstein hair on the right!

You actually got to be part of an Air Show attraction! Cool stuff Juan! Who were the other two on the Sweathog Ground Crew? Vinnie Barbarino and Arnold Horshack.  What college did you attend and did your dad ever build anything the two of you could take for a ride?

Good stuff.  Thanks for posting that.  I was there, too.  The F-14 Tomcat was so hot back then.  Gulf of Sidra One and a star in the movie The Final Countdown.  The 80's were good to the Tomcat.  All the other pics were also cool.  Chuck, those pics of you and your dad are neat.
