For all of you military enthusiasts, this is an interesting recommendation. Right out of a Dale Brown novel...

Patriots? Isn't that just a little big to put on a B-1?

Maybe an AMRAAM, or a Phoenix, but a Patriot?

Out of the sandbox, finally!

The program Dogfights did a "future" episode a few years ago. In it they showed a version of the B-1 that was a "missle carrier" for the F-22. It was loaded with AIM-120's (AMRAAM's) that the F-22's would target and launch via datalink.

The simulation on the program looked pretty darn cool - a B-1 can carry a lot of AIM-120's!

it'll all be cool as hell until one of those B-1s get a Blue Screen of Death......

Powered by a 330hp John Deere 6081H CNG fueled, turbocharged 8.1 Liter 6 cylinder engine connected to an Allison B400R6 six speed automatic transmission with built in retarder.
