What happened? Looks like he came down right at the end of the runway. Debris in the water, rudder and tail planes on the end of the runway. Video shows people coming down the chutes and running away with their luggage!!

Okay. So the forum won't let me edit the thread title. It wasn't a Ghana A/L A/C. It just looked like it said that in the first videos that I saw this morning.

 

But seriously, WTF is up with all the people I saw in the early videos coming down the chutes with carry on bags? Last I knew the rules were no bags, no shoes, just yourself to go down the chutes.

Heard this AM that the ILS wasn't working for that runway?  Seemed like the weather was good enough for a visual.  Will be interesting to see what the NTSB comes up with.
