last Friday, i spotted what looks to be an F-22 being escorted by a twin seater F-16. The 16 was its standard pale grey.....but the F-22 was an odd, blueish green color, much like that of an SU-27 Flanker. Are some F-22s being painted to act as Flanker aggressors now?

The F-22 that flew at Mustangs and Legends in Columbus a few years back seemed to change color constantly. It was a partly cloudy day, so varying light levels were a factor, but even in full sun it seemed to hue shift from battleship gray to almost a F15E blue. I know the old RAM paint on the U2/SR71 had metallic material in it, maybe these new planes have a metal flake.
I would love to order a new car with Lightning II Gunmetal Pearl Mica! lol
ah ha! Then its the paint job's light reflective hue thats making it seem a blueish, green color. This is the rd time ive seen an F-22 being escorted by an F-16 fly by. One time, there was 2 F-22s being escorted by a single F-16
