I remember when this happened, but never heard it explained by the pilot, thanks for posting the video! 

Waaayyy back when, these used to be visitors at the Cleveland Air Show, along with a Nimrod.  Those were the days!

You guys really think the co-pilot "froze" when asked to pull the throttles back?  I'm sure that they had briefed this a hundred times.  Personally I find it hard to believe.  Someone wanted to be the last Victor pilot, although it wasn't very graceful.
