Well, I said I would buy the 30D, the 40D, the 50D and thought about the 7D. Neither camera really tempted me enough to jump on it (well, the 7D is really cool but too much money - I mostly use point and shoots these days). Now the 60D has been leaked, and this time I will jump. If the image quality is as good as the 7D, it's a must have. I like the articulating screen too. I am currently down to one DSLR, I gave my XTi to my mother since I never used it after buying the used 20D. I like the 20D a lot, but the image quality does leave a little to be desired, especially at higher ISO's. Looks like the price point will be around $1,000 which isn't too bad. Heck, the 7D is down to $1,500 now.
Anyway, just thought I would mention it, I'm excited, it's been many, many years since I purchased a new DSLR...

These may be fakes, but they look real... And notice the airplane on the screen 🙂
Oooooo....sounds tempting. Unfortunately I don't think I'll be buying anything new until I get rid of some of my old stuff first. I NEVER use my extenders, I have camera bodies laying around all over the place, and then there are the accessories, etc...
I should do an inventory and clean off some of my shelves!
