Years ago I owned a Canon A2. I really liked that camera. Just before I switched from film photography to digital photography I acquired a used Canon EOS 5. Since about May 2005 I have been using digital cameras. Well, recently, on a whim, I acquired a used Canon A2E. This week I have run two rolls of print film through it. The highlight of what I photographed was a Cathay Pacific Cargo 747-8F. I expect to drop off the film for processing in the next few days. I hope I will have some pics good enough to scan and upload in the OPShots gallery.
Didn't you get the EOS 5 from me? It was an awesome camera. I still kind of miss it, but I know I will never go back to film. The fact that someone else is post processing my pictures is just not acceptable to me anymore. On the other hand, it was nice to have actual pictures in your hand to look at. I still have a EOS 10 sitting somewhere at home. I take it out once a year to exercise the shutter, but I don't ever use it. Kind of a shame.
