Dang, that's a pretty tight spot for an emergency landing, but it looks like it all came out okay for everyone involved.  Nice work by the pilots!  We had a police helicopter make a forced landing in downtown Cleveland a few years back with the same successful outcome.  It always amazes me that they can autorotate so well!

Yes, he did a great job putting it down, kudos!  This wasn't the event I was thinking about though.  The one I'm thinking of may have been about ten years ago and it wasn't in one of the MD birds.  The landing happened in an empty lot somewhere near Payne Avenue, practically in downtown proper.  I did a quick search and haven't been able to find anything about it yet, but I'll keep looking.  I remember because I actually had a ride in that helicopter!
