A reliable source on the other site is reporting that American is bringing their MD-80s back to CLE.    3 daily flight to/from DFW effective April 5, 2011

It's in AA's latest schedule revision.  Three MD-80's replacing three CR7's and a lone ER4.  It's a loss of one frequency but a big gain in seats.

I think AA has got their fares and fees up to where it's profitable to expand MD-80 flying.  Now if JetA prices will just cooperate ...

This is showing in my latest edition of Sky Guide.

Two daily flights:

AA1957 MD80 departs at 6:50a

AA1691 MD80 departs at 6:15p

Flights operating on all days minus Saturday:

AA665 MD80 departs at 12:15p

Flight operating only on Saturdays:

AA1607 MD80 departs at 12:15p

If at first you don't succeed, skydiving is not for you.

Got a lousy picture on the 4-5-11 arrival. Clouds covered the sun when it showed up. Of the first 90 minutes I was at the 100BG, two aircraft landed on 24L. This was one of them. Here's a list of the planes which came in on 24R for great photos.
