Frontier Airlines today, as part of a broader expansion, announced new summer service from Cleveland Hopkins Airport to Sarasota-Bradenton. The service begins June 6, and will operate on Saturdays. Beginning in November, the service will expand to 4x weekly. 

As Frontier expands, other airlines are also adding to their schedule in Cleveland. Service to Las Vegas, Phoenix, Newark, Washington Reagan, Miami, St. Louis, Raleigh/Durham, Myrtle Beach, Charleston, SC, and Norfolk will resume in June. Service to Punta Cana, Cancun, Los Angeles and San Francisco will resume in July, while service to Hartford, Salt Lake City and Milwaukee will resume in August. 

Scheduled daily departures are on track to double, from the current 20 to 40 beginning in June.
