Delta Airlines has started MD-88 service from ATL .Flight 1204 arrives at 7:32pm,stays the night and leaves as flight 1261 to ATL at 6:30am....Photo opps in the evening will probably only be for a few more weeks as we lose the evening sun.......and of course Delta will switch this to a DC-9-50 starting Oct 1..almost no chance to catch this classic 9 in the evening!

Saw it go by the house last night in the old livery.    Heard a strange sounding airplane, looked up and whoa!  A mainline jet!  Holy moly!    Looked as big as a 747 compared to all the ERJs I normally see.

And to think 6 years ago we used to overnight four 737-200's on the B concourse.  Three went to ATL and one to CVG.  I think we only had 2-3 RJ flights between 0500 and 1300.  A couple of CRJ's and a Dornier 328Jet to CVG.

I flew on two of those 737-200s, on to ATL in the morning around 6am-ish, and the one that came in from CVG around 4pm-ish.  This was 7 years ago. And oh yes, I remember the 328JETs.  Good old times.
