Hey guys, I believe i saw a United Heavy departing this evening around 6 this evening. I could not for sure identify the aircraft and I checked Flightaware to see if i could figure it out. anybody else see this or were my eyes just playing tricks on me. I'm for sure it wasnt a 757. the aircraft was in the old United tulip scheme. Thanks guys! I'm pretty sure it was a 763. maybe a 777 but engines looked too small.

Thanks friends

Thanks for the heads-up. Although I need to ask if you can please refrain from posting a GEEK alert unless it is a confirmed aircraft or movement. The reason being is when a GEEK alert is posted it also auto sends an alert to our Twitter and Facebook feeds, literally hundreds of followers get an alert and if you have your phone or iPad or e-mail setup properly and tied into Twitter or Facebook you will get an alert.

As you can imagine this alert at the wrong time in the evening can send everyone scurrying to find out what is coming!!

No harm done, we dont want to discourage anyone, however if it is not known please post in the general aviation forums.

Thanks.

Geek Alerts should be posted only when an aircraft or a flight is publicly announced or visible on one of the current flight tracking sites. Any military, VIP, or unannounced postings will be deleted until such time as the information becomes public or the aircraft has arrived at the airport. All alerts are for aircraft enroute or still present in the area or at the airport. For discussions on aircraft that have come and gone, please post in the General Aviation forums.

If at first you don't succeed, skydiving is not for you.
