Did the passengers on the diverted flights from DME & LHR get cleared through customs and then re-routed or did they sit on the planes until released to IAD? I saw both of them were parked at the FIS gates on A.

Hi and welcome...I got a shot of the UA 777 landing ...its in the photo gallery. I dont know where the F5s came from but did see them in formation on approach to 6R ,then they broke off and circled back for single file landing...Pretty neat
I would think that 707guy might know more about the F5s..Hope you enjoy Opshots

The F-5's are from MCAS Yuma, AZ. They were headed to the east coast and stopped for the night.

Where did the F-5s park? Based on the pictures (which are outstanding, by the way), it looks like the NASA ramp?
