Not sure if its the 747 or the Airbus but I'm on a job to E24 this morning. Loading luggage at Intercontinental at 0730.

Can't see anything on FA just yet but they are going.

Well it was the B772 HZ-AKF that I was serving. Delayed departure possibly due to them losing me and my van of luggage and a security guard. We were sent to E24 and forgotten about while everyone else went through Atlantic and got loaded!

Left a short time ago

Yeah, that 777 snuck in and snuck out today...I never even knew it was coming.  I did manage to get some shots though as it taxied out.  As for the SP, there should be enough light to catch it leaving.  Thanks for the heads up!

Not sure what the references to "E24" and "Intercontinental" refer to. Just curious. Thanks.

Intercontinental refers to the highly regarded hotel the prince and or his entourage stayed at.

After school I headed down to Burke and on my way to swim practice I passed the hotel and saw the entourage. There were a number of Lincoln Town Cars and two limo shuttles with the Saudi flag on a sheet of paper with a number on the window. Most of the cars were from New York. A ambulance waited with open doors next to the entourage but I don't believe anyone was inside. There were also many secret service agents standing around and three police motorcycles leading the group. This was around 1715 on 3/13 and the entourage had not left. There were four U-Haul trucks in the group.

E24 is a holding area(car park) where non-airport vehicles assemble to be escorted airside. It is on Cargo Road on the left after you go round the bend just before the Stop sign. Vehicles enter airside by turning left at that stop sign.

A lot of the limos/SUV's were from mostly New York and with Arabic speaking drivers. Some of them were armored vehicles. It did not stop them getting lost and taking wrong turns whilst here. The local drivers were not permitted to lead convoys!

Usually the security is provided by the Diplomatic Security Service so those are actually DSS agents and not USSS folks.
