Got some pics of it from Cleveland Pkwy. Guessed it would go 24L because of the very light traffic on the field we at the time on a Saturday afternoon. Wrong. Frown  Had to zip to the west end of the street for the 24R shot . Special thanks to Mother Nature for sending in some gray clouds just a few minutes before it showed up to ruin some decent lighting.

 

Any idea why the Vegas 753 had to peel off its approach and go around? Confused

I heard about the go around but don't know why it happened.  As for the clouds, well, guess that's par for the course anymore.  I'm pretty well sick of them myself, both literally and figuratively. 

Glad to hear you got some shots...I grabbed a few myself.  That's four for four now!

And no, still no date on the start up...FAA still draggin' its feet I guess.

Managed to get a snap shot of it on stand C2 this morning. Had to jump out of my limo, click, then back in and away before the cops had me! Fortunately I'd just dropped off the passenger or wouldn't have been able to stop.

Yesterday AM, I stood out there for about 5 minutes enjoying the view and taking some photos.  Parked in the garage. A couple CPD officers were headed my way when I was done. They were cool once I explained what I was doing out there. One was interested in the aircraft, so I told him all I knew about it and the Commutair upgrade to the 300's. He even knew about OPShots. Smile
