My wife is commuting back from ORD to CLE and I asked her what colors the plane was, and she said its the retro United Airbus.  She asked if I was jealous, I said it didnt matter because I can't get pictures of it from inside the plane.  Granted I can't get pictures of it from here in my hotel room in Providence either, but maybe someone else will have a chance so here I go posting.

If they were coming in on the 23s, I would have gotten it.Yell I was on Brookpark when I saw a Dash 8 coming down on 6R, the United A320 was probably next in line.

Those are Runway 24's. 23's have not been in use for years.

If at first you don't succeed, skydiving is not for you.

LOL!  No worries, they turn to mush again later in life too!  Incidentally, I did manage to get some shots of it.  Maybe I'll get to post some tonight, yet.

Glad somebody did. I saw the OP's post at 3PM. If UA570 came in on the 24s, I had enough time to reach Brysdale, jump out of the car, and take a few pics. I didn't know what the procedure was at the 100th BG (now found out you can spot out of the parking lot), but I doubt I would have made it there in time. And I am a bit leery of trying to make that spot on Aerospace. Has anybody tried to spot out of Dora Lee Payne Park between Emerson and Sheldon? Seems like that would be a good spot. What's the status of those two ball diamonds I saw on Google Maps on Cryogenic and W. Area? Who do they belong to?
