Flight 91 Tel Aviv to EWR on the ground now (Star Alliance bird) Parking A-11

Flight 49 Bombay to EWR ETA 0529 Parking A-14

Possible departure after 1400 today.

Reporter: What kind of plane is it?
Johnny: Oh, it's a big pretty white plane with red stripes, curtains in the windows and wheels and it looks like a big Tylenol.

I just saw on Facebook that the Cleveland Hopkins INT post talks about the Diversions to. IT says for our plane watchers we have two Diversions and talks about how the one is in star alliances colors. So they know were out there.

Hey, that's kind of cool to spread the word about something different and interesting and recognize the geeks.
It sure is nice to see those nice tall tails of the Triple's next to the other planes parked at the concourse.  ;D

Whoa!  I better come in early to try to get some shots!  Thanks for the heads up, and anxious to see what the City site says!

I was just over there poking around. The Star Alliance bird is parked at a gate on the C concourse. The other with the United titles is backed in behind the A concourse next to the hangar. Stopped in the terminal to use the can. The monitor by the check in counters showed flight 91 scheduled for a 5PM departure, flight 49 at 7PM. You folks who work there could probably verify this later today. None of this is showing right now on Flightaware. Got a few shots from the parking garage.

The Star Alliance bird (ship 17) is flight 91 from Tel Aviv, and is scheduled to push at 6:30P with a 7:02P wheels up time, and the United bird (ship 020) is from Mumbai and set to push at 7:30P with a wheels up time of 7:47P.

Looks like CLE is proving to be a worthwhile hub!  Maybe the new United will think twice about any downsizing here!

We've ALWAYS been a worthwhile hub!  I almost posted something on the "blue" site where someone wondered why CO would send the diversions here instead of IAD or ORD.  It ticks me off that people don't think we are capable of handling these things!  In addition to the two 777's, we also are handling three 737's that diverted last night...one from SAN, one from EGE, and one from TPA...all either spent the night, most of the day, or both.

Granted, CLE does have an issue with customs being such a small facility, but once we get people through there, we can handle the rest!  Bring 'em on, I say!

I hung around the 100 BG until it got too dark. Did get to see ship 20 get towed to the gate. Pics uploaded!
