The B-17 from the movie 'Memphis Belle' will be at this weekend's air show at BKL. On Tuesday Sept. 6th it will depart for CLE for next week's 100th Bomb Group reunion. On Thursday Sept. 8th, three KC 135s, representing three of the four squadrons of the original 100th Bomb Group, will arrive at CLE for the reunion.

I think the 100BG parking lot's going to be packed. They'll probably be on the 6s according to the Weather Channel

There will be a flyover by the B-17 at the 100th Bomb Group Restaurant on Friday afternoon, Sept. 9th.

Unfortunately, due to the operational needs of three wars, no KC-135s were available to come to Cleveland. One crew from the 100th ARW at RAF Mildenhall in England did attend the 100th Bomb Group reunion. They are very sorry they couldn't fly their airplane here. They said they are planning to have a plane at the next reunion in Savannah, GA in 2013. I will upload photos of the B-17 in the next few days.

Were you on the deck? There were a couple people in the parking lot when she did her flypast. Have you ever had somebody come up to you at the 100th and ask you to email them some pics? Somebody asked me that after the Belle left.

I have had some people ask me that. I just always state to go to You need to be a member to view our links. to check out photos of what I am taking today and other photos.
