Edited. It was a TBM, not a Hellcat.

 

Posting here in case anyone has any info.

Saw a TBM Avenger behind our place in Avon Lake about 45 minutes ago. He came from the west, did a 180 turn and headed back towards Lorain. Late war markings with a white triangle on the  tail.

Anyone have any idea about him?

Most likely the Lake Erie Warbirds TBM Avenger that is based out of Port Clinton at the Liberty Aviation Museum up for a hop.
