 Landing today at 6:40pm an Air France airbus was parked in the deicing area. Fire trucks and police cars.  Portable

stairs (Delta) were on the tarmac.  Looked to be refueling.  Was this a  weather diversion  or another problem??

Interesting. Never saw or heard anything on the news about this.

If they were surrounded on the de-icing pad, it sounds like something happened. Detroit really isn't that much farther, and Pittsburgh is only slightly out of the way possibly. Unless Detroit was backed up and they needed to land right away for a medical emergency.
