Yeah, after I saw what was coming our way (towards Kent) I packed up and went to a place where I could take shelter.  I live in a pre-fab on a slab, so there's no protection here.  A tornado warning and a couple of severe thunderstorms later, I am safely back home.

it got pretty bad, and we turned on channel 5 to check the storms...they were showing a map that pretty much centered on my house in cuyahoga falls, with a big circle around it...sigh.

we headed to the basement, and everything passed, better safe than sorry though.

Yeah, it's been pretty crazy this year, not just here, but all over.  I couldn't believe the pictures of the hail I've seen on the news sites...I haven't seen anything of the sort here in Tremont.

I blame all this weather for the fact that I've been pretty sick for the last couple days.  I even called off work two days in a row now, and I never do that.  I may even call in for tomorrow too, depends how I'm feeling later tonight.  I hate being sick!FrownYell

Was driving back from Erie and drove right under the wall cloud curving down as the storm raced east, as I looked out the driver's side window the back side of the wall cloud was in rotation with can only be described as a giant smoke ring about halfway between the cloud bottom and the ground. I would have taken pictures if I weren't so dumbstruck (and driving fullout to get through the storm)!
