Thanks everybody for your tips and advice.  I too, have the whole bundled package, and honestly, except for the TV, I DO like TWC.  I have called a number of times, and except for once, I have been excruciatingly polite, as have they.  I did get offered $10.00 off on my last bill and of course that was nice, but I think the aggravation was worth at least twice that.

Over the next two days while I'm off I'll give them a call again and see if I can't get some kind of resolution.  Yeah, I think I could live with $89.50 for 12 months over what I'm paying now.  I mean, I just feel I'm getting cheated paying full price and only having partial service.

Funny with the timing of this post..Just got off the phone with TWC as I type this!...my on demand channels arent working..AGAIN!...was looking forward to watching some on demand Horror movies that I F-ing PAY for since its Halloween weekend!...since this spring I have have something like 6 tech visits taking time out of my work day trying to resolve everything from a new line to the house to the e13 code on my box to the dvr is broke 2 times in a 48 hour period to pixel stuttering images to the box randomly reseting during of all things the Browns game with friends over taking nearly 10 minutes to reset then doing it again 3 more times...I've had my hd box replaced something like 5 times now with nothing but "Im so sorry Mr Lee..You've been credited with a free movie"...I'm nearing my wits end with this crap...Just wish there was more competition with these cable company monopolies!

Hmmm...I wonder if this would help?:

I didn't mean to open a can of worms with this, but I still feel that if you are paying for something, you should get what you pay for, no?  I just think that if you are getting charged for it, all the kinks should be worked out already.  I'm fine with the occasional problem...stuff happens and always will, but every single time I watch TV?  And I'm not exaggerating.

It did freeze up on me again tonight, too...completely.  I couldn't even change the channel to a non-HD one.  I turned the TV off and back on, tried changing channels, turned the box off and on, but nothing.  It took about five minutes to come back up.  Arrrgh! YellConfused

I've spent so much time on the phone with service operators and hours with house visits with techs that I have the whole spiel down to a routine now...I am a box reseting master HaHa..I've learned what multiple error codes mean and what to tell the phone people to cut to the chase...I can almost tell you verbatim what the phone operators are gonna say to me when I call...I really like TWC when it's working but that's been far and few lately..I understand it's not always the techs and service people to blame for these problems..but maybe the head management is selling a PRICEY service that is to be expected to be filed with bugs and problems making the field guys take the fall for everything that goes wrong..cause I've actualy gotten to know a few and they seem pretty frusterated with trying to give me answers face to face

If anyone is having recurring issues PM me your TWC account number I can help. I work there. And for the record all providers have issues from time to time we live in a northern climate and lines shrink and expand, squirrell chews and other miscellaneous things. Not saying this is the problem as each is unique. I had some issues with weak signals and had an amp installed to boost the signal.

I cannot stress enough that the above issues are just examples and in no way could be your issue or cause.

Let me know I can help just don't bombard me all at once. Last thing I can't do is handle 100 issues, but would be happy to run some diagnostic tests from the office and setup service calls if needed.

Also for the record we have 24/7 phone support, 24/7 live online chat support, local offices for support and usually can get a tech there pretty quick and give you a two hour window when we are coming. AT&T it it's all day they could show up or nothing. Just saying.

If I had any choice of another provider I would do without. All other providers do not compare when it comes to customer service and offerings. I know I work there but I have had dealings with all other providers and we are the best.

If at first you don't succeed, skydiving is not for you.

I completely agree.

I called today because I just bought a new 65" TV and needed the code to program my remote. The gentleman I talked to was great. Less than two minutes the whole call was ended and I was channel surfing. They are good about helping. I'm hoping you can get it worked out there Chuck, it sucks when your cable doesn't work right. Yell

"...we are the best."

excellent!  I'm glad that's settled!

with all due respect, I think we can all decide on our own.   Interestingly enough, I've not had to call my provider in easily over 10 yrs about an issue.

Agreed Chris. We are all consumers and have to make these decisions ourselves. My personal opinion, and I have subscribed or had close family members that have subscribed to all the major players across the country we always come out on top. But hey that does not mean every single customer will be satisfied. Not one company can say that. I like Canon does not mean everyone will. Anyway no harm no foul in my backyard with anyone here and their decisions to spend their money the way they deem necessary.
