Are you kidding!  The hood pulled up cracks me up, though!  It totally portrays photography as the base of terrorism.  Sad...ignorant...pathetic...misguided...

I would question a guy next to the fence with a hoody on too. Camera or no camera.

On further investigation this is put out by the AOPA in partnership with the TSA http:www.aopa.orgairportwatch

Shame on them!!

Participate with your fellow pilots in the safekeeping of general aviation's local neighborhoods

Great...

At O'Hare they have a program where the photogs report suspicious activity, if only it were like that everywhere.

It is that way at Hopkins. We report suspicious activity as part of the OPShots official members.

Ah, didn't know that.  If I remember correctly they get ID cards and are allowed to be anywhere along the fence line.  Besides activity they report birds or anything hazardous on the runways/taxiways.

OMG...what a joke.  Way to make PHOTOGRAPHERS look like the villains.  And this was on Airshow Buzz??
Was this a topic of discussion or an actual ad there?  Airshow Buzz is all about photography so I can only imagine its a topic of discussion.  Will have to check that out.
Unbelievable...TSA... :angryfire:

Not TSA. They are only a partial partner. AOPA is the guilty party here: On further investigation this is put out by the AOPA in partnership with the TSA http:www.aopa.orgairportwatch
