Let's see if this [colorful word] is real.  Will CLE roll over and play dead like some larger airports when faced with such a dire weather prediction?  Will Mayor Jackson have to apologize about salting, sanding and snow removal? Will Chardon end up getting less snow than somewhere else?  Will it really be an ice storm?

Inquiring minds want to know.  Post your storm story here.

Well...they are whacking flights left and right on tomorrow's schedule...there isn't even a SINGLE flight set to operate to EWR tomorrow.  There are dozens of others being canceled as I type this.  Should be either a very exciting or very boring day tomorrow!

I'm pretty sure I heard that CO is closing down all CLE operations at 7:00PM tomorrow...looks to be an interesting day shaping up indeed!

Well, here on the lakeshore in Avon Lake, it's hard to tell. I have some drifting from the wind blowing. Wind is out of the NE at around 10-15 mph.

So far, I'm not impressed.

Doug

Out of the sandbox, finally!

I got 6" at my place at Kamms.  Hour and a half drive to work this morning.  I can tell you that if this happens again tonight, Wed. will be a snow day for me.  I'm not about to sit in traffic for another 90 mins again.

I have class on Wednesday night and I have a 45 mile commute.  My school never closes.  NEVER.  Not looking forward to that commute.

We had about six inches in Garfield. And we just got back from Florida. Yuck!

They are forecasting 1/2 inch of ice tonight, starting after 7 and continuing through the overnight.  I've gotta go to PA in this mess, I don't mind running through snow but ice will put you into a jackknife in the blink of an eye.... uggggh, we will see what happens.
