I didn't think this was gallery worthy, but I thought it was cool enough for here! I caught this pic of some of Hopkins' snow removal equipment as they worked on the berm of taxiway Juliet this evening. I swear, the city is doing an awesome job this year, and it may just be my imagination but it seems as if they either have more equipment, or a larger staff to use it because they have been out almost constantly this winter thus far.
So, a tip of the hat to the Hopkins crews! (Tonight's little excursion by the Cleveland Gladiators Challenger not withstanding!)

The testament to their work is that I can only remember once in the last 7-8 years that the entire airport has closed due to snow. They may close a runway every now and then but the enitre airport closing is a rare thing. I have noticed that over the past couple of years they have been receiving new equipment.
