Chuck, where did you hear that EWR was supposed to remain closed? Official sources say it's supposed to open back up at 1800 EST...? We are stranded in Munich for the second day already, really hoping that we get an airplane to come home with...
By the way, is the time right on the posts? It seems like the time stamp is off by an hour, but that may be me since I'm overseas...

We'll have to adjust the clocks, but yes, Michi...EWR will remain closed for arrivals for the remainder of the evening and overnight. They are having a meeting in the AM to see who gets to go back first. Oh look...another 777 just landed! (CO 86).

And as for parking these birds, we've got one 777 on C-05, one at the northeast corner, one on the new pad by the firehouse (star alliance bird), one at the customs gates presently but it will be moved to the new pad as well. There are people EVERYWHERE!
