9/11 is a day that will never be forgotten.... the world we know changed that day. I think it is only appropriate to stop and remember those lives lost, the families torn apart by a heinous act of terrorism, and the lives we have lost in the war on terrorism from this country and the world alike....

SPECIAL GARDEN (A Child cry to his Daddy)

In my garden, I will plant some of Daddy's things

The hat he wears for his favorite baseball team.
His special notes he wrote to me.
His favorite songs he likes to sing.
His special collect cars he bought last spring.

His favorite tie that has grease stains.
His favorite fishing pole, even though he has never caught anything.

And I'm going to plant some of my tears, these come from me.
Every night before I go to sleep, I will go out to my special garden
and pray over Daddy's things.

I think that this gentleman has a very good point.....

We should never forget the events of that horrible day in our history...

As far as the letter to Osama - I'm sure he will ignore it but the man who wrote it has some very good points...

No, we will never forget, nor should we.  But we must be careful not to let our fear of radical terrorists color our perceptions of our fellow human beings.  A person's color, race nor religion does not a terrorist make... to think so is to deny our very humanity, to trivialize all those who are not exactly like us.

I mourn for the loss of lives on 9/11, and I mourn for the loss of the lives we once knew.  I also mourn for the loss of civility in this great nation of ours.  We fight for our freedoms, yet some would deny others the very rights they claim to be protecting.  My wish would be that we all open our eyes to what exists beyond our borders, put ourselves in someone else's shoes (if they have them), and realize that except for a small minority of all races, colors, nationalities and religions...we are humans first and really want most of the same things.

No, I will never forget...but neither shall I let the acts of a few dictate how I see the rest of the world.  Nor will I let the vitriolic rhetoric of some of our country's loudest voices sway me either.

This is my Country...I love it...and I don't want to see us become a hateful, spiteful, place.

9/11 ... I Will Never Forget.

I couldn't have said it better myself, Chuck.  Very well-written.
