Would like to know what really happened here. This Long Island Lawyer Blog reads, as you would expect, like an over dramaitc account from the alledged victims point of view. If you have the stomach to pick thru the large amount vitriolic and hateful comments on the blogs comment section, you will find a few with the same questions I had. The truth is somewhere in the middle. The lawsuit will most likely go thru the appellate courts, and if she still wins, the amount will not be so high. I doubt the village of South Hampton or Suffolk County have that kind of cash laying around.
