I was down at the 100th Bomb Group for Memphis Belle and for a little bit there, I thought I was going to see Dorothy, Toto, and Auntie Em... If it happened over water, it'd be a waterspout...Surprised

RTA has new 60 foot articulated buses from New Flyer I have not been able to get photos of. IF you can get at least 8 photos of those rollers, no. series 3000s, Ill see bout have'in a friend of mine, who's the web master for TTMG, sling'em on his site.

Maybe I already did you one better?  How about if I told you I took some shots of a rail repair car and workers on the old Nickel Plate Viaduct in the flats?  If I have time, I'll post them tomorrow Laugh

I'll also keep an eye out for those Autobus articulatus for ya!

Chuck, I'm so sorry to hear of all this!  I've been AWOL for a couple weeks and I hate that I've missed all of this but it seems you're bouncing back quite nicely!  I also have State Farm and I have no complaints and your story only confirms my feelings about them.

Wow, Chuck. The first chance I've had to get back on the site and I  read  this. Frown This really sucks!

It's a shame that you lost all those images, but just think of the ones you'll get with the new gear.

Another thing that I learned about those keyless entry units. The best thing to do is to manually lock the door from the inside, and only use the unit to unlock the door. That way, you don't send out the signal that can be hacked by the crooks with the decoders when locking them.

Doug

Out of the sandbox, finally!

Hey, something I forgot to mention.  This is a good practice universally.  Take a small piece of an index card or something and cover your VIN number.  With the VIN number, all one needs to do is go to a dealership with a well-concocted story and they will cut a new key and/or give a new keyless entry remote.  Yeah, it's that easy.  And if someone has an inside person at a dealership...well, you can see where that would go.  Cover that VIN number in a way where it's accessible only when needed.

hey chuck, just reading up on this...glad it all worked out for you.

a couple of years ago some punk broke out the passenger window of my genesis coupe and stole 2 ipods and a gps...totalling about a thousand bucks...

wasn't covered by my car insurance, and my homeowners deductable was 500, but i would have lost discounts, i just had to eat it...

stuff is stuff, and i am super happy you got new stuff.
