CLEVELAND, Ohio – Frontier Airlines is continuing to expand its service out of Cleveland Hopkins, announcing Wednesday that it will add two more cities to a growing list of nonstop destinations: Dallas/Fort Worth and Las Vegas.
Both cities are already available via nonstop service from Cleveland – Dallas on United and American airlines, and Las Vegas on Southwest and United – but the new Frontier flights should bring down fares by adding competition to those routes.
“We are very excited that Frontier Airlines believes enough in Cleveland and Northeast Ohio to make their third new service announcement in just a few months,” airport Director Ricky Smith said in a statement. “Frontier has become our second-largest carrier at CLE in terms of nonstop markets served and we’re glad to see them adding Las Vegas and Dallas/Fort Worth to their growing menu of 14 destinations.”
