Alaska’s “Salmon-30-Salmon” is no more – OPShots.net

One of the coolest planes you could ever hope to see on a day of spotting has sadly disappeared from our skies.  Since 2005, Alaska Airlines’ 737-400 N792AS has worn a one-off livery promoting “Wild Alaska Seafood” accompanied by  gigantic images of a king salmon on either side.   A favorite among spotters and passengers alike, the aircraft was recently repainted into the standard livery of the airline.  One can only hope this means they’ll be painting one of their newer aircraft in a similar scheme!
