Back in 1977 when many of us were still in school or not even born yet, OPShots contributor George Mihalek was out there with his trusty camera snapping photos of the planes that marked that period of time at Hopkins. Although he has plenty of shots from elsewhere and is still photographing today, it’s the ones from right here at home and the not-too distant past that stir many of our hearts most.
OPShots thanks you for your continued contributions, and for preserving a piece of the history of Cleveland Hopkins Airport, and for that, you are the first recipient of the OPShots TOPSHOT award!
