Kalair moved its sole aircraft, a 767-300 (VP-BKS) from Newark International to Port Columbus airport in Ohio on August 26th, in advance of Hurricane Irene. The former Gulf Air aircraft can often be seen remotely parked at various east coast airports, but scant information is available about who owns it or what it is used for. What is known, is that it was painted with Backstreet Boys titles in 2000, and used for their world tour that year. It is also believed to be in VIP configuration. The 767 made two touch-and-goes at CMH before landing and settling down to ride out the storm in safety.  – OPShots.net

Chuck Slusarczyk Jr.

I started OPShots in June 2006 as a place to share and display aviation photos without the often restrictive policies of other aviation websites. I want to share my love of aviation with fellow aviation geeks and provide a spotlight on Cleveland Hopkins International airport in the process.
