Here's proof of United's hub in Cleveland. this was taken from gate 51 right at the corner where the "banjo" begins in the C concourse. 3 727's and 3 737's are parked at their gates on C, while in the background an Eastern DC-9 and 727sit at the B concourse which is in the process of losing its observation deck for the new, and current, B concourse.

I'd date this photo around the early-mid 70's, if the B-concourse is getting built. My mother was an F/A for United, who knows, maybe she was on one of these airplanes?
