N631NW (cn 23111) Absolutely amazing! Nose of this massive NWA 747 takes to the skies over LAX. Shown here just off of Rwy 25L. A Runway rarely used for departures. [Best viewed at 1152]

N631NW (cn 23111) The only time we saw an aircraft take off from Rwy 25L the whole time we were here. The second longest runway at LA but the widest at 11,095 X 200. From the judge of all the spotters around me you know that it must be very rare as everyone was hurrying to catch her. Of course I was up front and ready since I basically shot every aircraft I could. Nice and loud!! Best viewed at 1152.

N631NW (cn 23111) Del. 04/02/1984 as N631US in passenger configuration now in cargo config. Shown here taxiing on Alpha to the cargo area to load up. Wonder what will happen with the cargo birds after the merger? Will they become Delta Cargo? First pic of a NW Cargo bird in our database and a nice closeup to boot! Best viewed at 1152 size.
