N9206Y (cn 18-8921) When I was a little lad, I used to buy these cheap plastic "Piper Cub" models at the dime store around the corner from our house. (I think they cost a quarter or something like that...) and they came with oversized tires just like this. I always thought they made the planes look cheesy, but that was before I knew about bush planes and tundra tires! Not a great shot, but I wanted to share the memory.

Chuck, I used to buy the same toy planes. Couldn't stand the big, dorky tires and used to cut them off with a steak knife but slices by thumb open one time and got stitches!
