I knew this day was coming but not this soon.

"Chuck, the new runway's flight path, runway lights etc. will go right where the viewing area is I believe. " Yes, I did hear that since seeing this photo, and that makes me feel a lot better. In fact, I'm glad they are improving the field, and that makes a whole lot more sense than closing it for other reasons...and it essentially removes any sense of injustice I may have had. With luck, they will make a new one somewhere else! Still..."forever?" Sheesh! :-)

Man o man, this is a stretch but maybe they could give us some sort of discount or yearly pass for the garage parking, highly doubt it though.
