N837CA (cn 554) Distance, heat haze, and a runway change conspired against me during the much anticipated arrival of CommutAir's first Dash 8-300 series aircraft. This landing was the conclusion of its six-leg ferry flight all the way from Innsbruck Austria. It routed through Prestwick (PIK), Keflavik (KEF), Narsarsuaq, Greenland (UAK), Goose Bay, Newfoundland (YYR), and Burlington, Vermont (BTV), before arriving in Cleveland this evening still dressed in its Austrian Arrows coloring.
