Wow! I'm glad you uploaded this one..What a cool picture! It does Really show the layout..And Check out all those Green New York Central box cars.

You are welcome! The airport was a magical place to a kid back then- a shame younger people can not experience what it was like. Looking closer at the picture, I see an AA DC-6, UA Viscount, NW 707, UA 720, and an AA 727. Note how undeveloped the land was north of the airport before I-480 went thru!

Cool! Thanks for posting. Some 20+ years before I was born, it is interesting to see what the airport used to look like. I just found an aerial photo that my grandfather took of NASA/CLE from around the same time but I can't imagine uploading it here. It's on a posterboard.
