N977Z (cn 47249) This DC-9-31 originally flew for Ozark, and was integrated into the TWA fleet with the merger of TWA and Ozark in 1986. This photograph was taken just 5 months before TWA ceased all operations on 12/1/01 having been purchased by American Airlines. Sadly, with the demise of TWA, another airline giant was gone from the skies.
