N780NC / N36247 (cn 48102) Continental 737-824 N36247 is outbound at spot one under the watchful eye of Hopkins ground control while Northwest DC-9-51 N708NC is inbound at spot two under control of the Continental ramp tower. With the NW/DL merger still in its early stages, this is probably a sight we won't see much since Northwest (DL) will most likely be leaving the C concourse, making this passing not likely to happen at this particular location for long.

Spot one and spot two are among six different spots between the active "movement area" where the FAA handles the traffic and the "non-movement" area where ramp control handles it. The spots are where control is handed over in and out. I'll try to find a map. And thanks, Jason!

What exactly does "spot one" and "spot two" refer to? Do you have map you could share? I've only seen a taxi diagram for CLE, but don't see references to different "spots." Thanks.
